How we identify your garage door remote
You send a photo of whatever you can get to. We work out exactly which system you have and tell you which remote works with it. We reply the same day, usually within a couple of hours during the week.

Send us a photo
Photograph whatever you can reach: the remote, the motor unit on the ceiling, or the receiver box on the wall. If there’s a label with any writing on it, that’s the photo we want most. Get close, use the flash, and check you can read it before you send it.
Email it to info.whichremote@gmail.com or use the form at the bottom of this page. You can send more than one.

We identify the system
As soon as you choose a photo, the site reads the label and shows you its best match. We then check the make, model, frequency and code type against our records. If a photo doesn’t settle it, we ask for one more, usually of the label on the motor. We don’t guess.
We reply the same day, usually within a couple of hours during the week, with the exact remote you need and what it costs. There’s no obligation to buy it from us.

You pair it in minutes
We send the genuine remote with simple steps for your system. Most pair in a couple of minutes, either at the motor or from a remote that already works.
If yours won’t play, email us and we’ll walk you through it. It usually takes about five minutes.
What to photograph
Any one of these is usually enough. The label matters more than the picture.
A label close-up
The most useful photo you can send. Labels are often on the side of the motor unit, on the receiver box, or inside the remote’s battery cover. Get close enough that we can read every line.
The motor unit
The box on the ceiling that drives the door. A photo of the whole unit tells us the make, and often the model. If you can reach the label on its side, photograph that too.
The receiver box
Some doors have a separate box on the wall near the door, often with a short aerial wire. Photograph it with the cover on, plus any label you can see. Please don’t open it up to get a better look.
